I guess for the Republicans it’s all settled then.
They agree to be sheep under the able coercion of Mitch
McConnell.
They agree that new evidence could burst the bubble of
“wrong but not impeachable.”
They agree to let their consciences by distracted by the
shiny boubles of process arguments and legal razzle-dazzle.
They agree that Americans have a greater desire for justice
than they do under oath.
They agree that a President they have watched lie with
impunity, tweet with invective, speak at campaign rallies with self-inflating
commonness and lead with ineptitude is their President.
This is the lowest blow to the meaning of both justice and
politics.
