Some recent polls indicate that Donald Trump has gotten an
initial boost because of the impeachment process and that Democrats may suffer
as a consequence.
In America’s past, it’s always been the minority that have
directed this country toward fulfilling its highest ideals of fairness,
equality and freedom. Women’s suffrage, factory reform, child labor laws,
racial equality, marriage equality, worker’s rights and more have resulted from
the passion and sacrifice of the few to improve the life of the many.
My hope is that most Americans will eventually come to
recognize that the impeachment process made the dangerousness and ineptness of
this President clear and so return to America its moral credibility at home and
abroad.
