Wealth

Being the Son of God, Jesus was very powerful. He could walk on water, bring the dead back to life and cure lepers. So, if he wanted, he could have taken over the temple, dressed himself and his family in the latest Roman couture and sandals of the most exotic leathers. He could have been carried around in luxury by handpicked slaves. He could have had the most beautiful trophy wife in Judea. But he didn’t do any of that.

There is, of course, a lesson in that. Wealth, in and of itself, is not the problem. St. Francis and the Buddha recognized that when wealth became poisonous, it was time to search for what was truly important in life. When one fails to find that tipping point, one becomes a Donald Trump.

Now and forever

Some artists are now artists.
Some artists are forever artists.
Some have a now vision.
Some have a forever vision.
Some see the surface of now.
Some dive deep into now to find forever.
But to those who are attentive,
The now is forever.

A recent Trump tweet

A recent Donald Trump tweet:

Secretary of Defense, Mark Esperanto, and Secretary of State, Mike Pompano, did a great job of implementing the cofefe operation which killed the cowardly dog,
Abu-Baktr-al-Big-Daddy. The Turkeystanies, under Nerdogan, ran off the Curds and way easily took over the buffet zone. We will bring our brave soldiers home and make sure that in the future every young American has bone spurs.

But there is love

The world is in chaos.
But there is love.
There is no simple definition of love.
But there is love.
There is always pain.
But there is love.
There is no formula for love.
But there is love.
There is no potion for love.
But there is love.
There is no one to love.
But there is love.
There is evil in a heart.
But there is love.
There is hate among the believers in God.
But there is love.
There is the end of love.
But there is love.
There is the loss of hope.
But there is love.

Imagine Trump

Imagine Trump dancing on the fine line between truth and lies--and always falling on the side of lies.
Imagine Trump not surround by all the mirrors reflecting his glory and having to confront the realness of the real world.
Imagine the Trump family gathered around the Thanksgiving table…enough said.
Imagine the presents under the Trump family Christmas tree, necessarily big enough to stoke the family egos.
Imagine Trump sitting in front of the TV with a stack of tacos watching Fox News while Melania puts his slippers on him.
Imagine Trump, Barr, Pompeo, Guiliani and Pence in the White House hot tub discussing Republican strategy.
Imagine Trump discussing with his marketers a new line of Make America Great Again underwear.
Imagine Trump sitting on the White House toilet expecting this his shit will turn to gold.
