God in us

With only our consciousness and human senses as guides, we can never really know the fullness and transcendence of God, or even if there is a God. So we create images of God in our search to find God and to get as close to God as we can.

Any such image has power only when it points back to the God in us, the only meaningful human place where God can live. Some pray to God. Some talk God. But unless we are infected by God, and infect others by our actions in the world, the God in us remains muted.
