When Louis Pasteur said, “Chance favors the prepared mind,”
he was talking about scientific discovery. But that thought is a powerful,
larger lesson in life.
As we move into adulthood, if we approach all our
educational experiences with curiosity, hard work and openness, if we do each
job we contract for with diligence and integrity no matter the pay, if we
approach every relationship with honesty and authenticity, then we are prepared
for whatever life throws at us, prepared to make the choices and take the risks
that can make our lives satisfying and meaningful in the world.
