A banana duct-taped to the wall will do it. Some people will
rush to see it, pockets full of cash in hand. Others will hear about it and
rush to a finely painted sunset, breathing a sigh of relief. Others won’t even
know about it, busy filling their millions of square feet of wall space with
the mundane and mediocre.
Pardon me, but this sometimes seems like the dilemma of art
in the contemporary world. I’m still trying to figure it out.
