Some thoughts on the news:
A flag-draped coffin and high-minded speeches. But why is it
so hard to live the lessons our heroes teach us?
Pink Cadillacs, wardrobe changes daily, a gold plated
coffin, a white hearse. The power of spectacle.
Orphaned children of the Iraq war, orphaned children in
Syria, deported children, children in migrant camps. Why aren’t all children
the children of all of us?
Bernie Madoff in a “plush” prison getting free, quality therapy
to figure out why he did it. Is that available in all prisons to all inmates?
