Trump's speech

Many have praised Donald Trump for finally appearing Presidential in his speech Tuesday. If all it takes is the ability to drone passionlessly in cliches and platitudes, to throw out sweeping goals with no strategies for reaching them and to call upon "the God who created us all," that is a pretty low bar. Try comparing this speech to an Obama speech and see what happens.

A call for unity and dreaming big while only the Republicans stand up to cheer. Pointing to a "new optimism" sweeping the country which is really desperate hopefulness at the most.

Trump could never have written this speech himself and probably has little idea of its implications.
Scripted. Read. Enough.
