Drawing

If it were up to me, drawing and its applications would be a required subject in every grade from K-12. Like English and mathematics, drawing would be taught as a language for discovery, problem solving and personal expression. We don’t expect every student to master English and mathematics, but we expect them to understand their value necessary tools for navigating life. Why neglect the visual language, and why not use the most basic tool of the visual language to teach it? The real message? It's not just how well you draw, but how well you see.
