Personal integrity

As a lifelong Democrat, I have not generally agreed with the philosophies and policies of Republican presidents. Yet I felt that Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Gerald Ford and even George W. Bush at least felt that personal integrity was important in their speech and behavior. If it couldn’t always be achieved, at least it was valued.
I can’t say this at all about Donald Trump, and that is the most disturbing thing for me. That is why all the humor around his hair, his tie, his mannerisms and so forth is becoming tiresome. The real issue for me is his lack of substance as a human being. No amount of money, property, visibility or power can hide that.
