The time when the truth about Santa Claus is revealed should
not be a sad time for a child. Rather it should be a time at which a child
begins to leave the childish and embrace the child-like. A time to celebrate
the gift of imagination and hope that children have. A time that, properly
nurtured, becomes of great value in adulthood.
So let go of Santa when the time comes, and hold on to Santa
as your gift to next generation and to the special imagination of childhood.
