When I came to Cincinnati from New Orleans in 1975, I was amazed at the quality of the arts, which have only continued to get richer. But not much has changed in terms of Cincinnati’s own appreciation of its arts. In my estimation, real change won’t happen until all of the arts institutions can use their clout as an effective art bloc.
