Humility

 One of the least acknowledged of human values is humility. Humility is not much practiced in the “me” age of narcissism, ego, power and celebrity. Yet, humility is at the core of self-realization, empathy and compassion. Humility points the self to the “other.” Humility is the source of courage, integrity and self-worth.

But it’s a damned hard virtue to acquire.
