So what now?

Astronauts can live in space for extended period of time. Operations on failing hearts are routine. We can connect with essentially anyone on earth. Devices can tell us all kinds of things about ourselves. Access to information is immediate. A GPS can take us wherever we choose to go. Technology is our savior. We ask it to solve all matter of problems, and it often succeeds.

But for all our technological advances, we still hate, kill, lack compassion and wallow in the material world. For all our technology, we seem no better at being decent human beings. We have lost our tether to our spiritual nature. Education is for career training and not for formation of thoughtful human beings. Religion is bogged down in dogma and sectarian squabbles.

So what now?
