We live in a world of too much information and too many ways
to twist the truth and too many ways to produce seductive half-truths and too
many people who believe theirs is the only truth. It’s easy to retreat into
mindless numbing. It’s easy to choose an easy truth. It’s easy to leave the job
of truth finding to others.
