For all that it may be necessary, the discussion of race, class, wealth inequality, sexism and poverty seems more and more tedious. What does it accomplish really? Where are the changes it hopes to bring?
For me, what we are not doing is talking honestly and persistently about love, authentic love. Anyone who understands and commits to authentic love could never be racist, greedy, egotistical, sexist or lacking compassion.
In a materialistic culture like ours, we have little room for our spiritual selves, and we settle for love that’s sentimental and flabby.
