While we are erasing Robert E. Lee and Christopher Columbus
and those types from our history, why don’t we just erase ourselves too for our
racism, greed, excessive consumerism, waste, failure to ease climate change in
our daily lives, selfishness and more.
Take down the little statue of yourself in your mind, think
about the sins of our own time, think about your legacy and take some action.
And don’t get upset, I’m talking to myself too.
