I believe in God. Actually in all the forms of God humans
have found necessary to feel significant in a chaotic and unpredictable world,
and who guide us to a full human life.
I believe in the Virgin because we have to believe there is
some possibility of purity and innocence in a world we constantly mess up and
muck up.
I believe in rituals that are necessary to remind us to look
for the profound and the sacred in life.
I believe in Saints because they model for us that faith and
sacrifice are worthwhile attributes in a life well lived.
I believe in temples of worship because they aspire to
values different from the soaring and arrogant boxes of commerce.
