I think my wife is a beautiful woman. It’s a beauty that
comes from intelligence, empathy, loyalty, intimacy, struggle, humor and more.
So it’s disheartening to me that so much emphasis on beauty in our culture is
based on cosmetic surgery, liposuction, implants, cosmetics, high fashion,
airbrushing, eyelid rejuvenation, tanning beds, modeling, eating disorders,
personal trainers.
But for all of that, the outside fades while the inside
endures.
