Love one another

Why are we so threatened by issues of race, gender, sexual orientation? If we believe the great teachers and the great religions, "love one another" is the healing action principle. This kind of love in action is so rare we should support it in a full and just way at every turn. But we cling to cultural dogmas and hide in fundamentalist rhetoric. In this way we constrict love instead of expanding it. We turn our backs on love and run into the arms of narrow prejudice.
