Joy Ride
Stumble,
Fall on your face
For love.
Get up and fight for it.
Arm yourself
With patience and honesty.
Don’t look in the mirror.
It’s not about you.
Look out the window
Onto a world
That’s frightened and bewildered,
But where love belongs.
Relentless and sturdy
And always forgiving.
