In the process of impeaching Donald Trump, it will not only
be the President who is on trial. The integrity of the Republican Senate will
be on trial. The Constitution will be on trail. The complacency of the American
voters will be on trial. The dignity and credibility of the justice process
will be on trial.
Trump has made government unstable and even farcical. The
impeachment process must bring back faith in American values and in the rule of
law.
