March Madness thoughts:

For every 3 pointer that gets sunk to wild cheering, a complex math problem is solved, an aria is sung and an exquisite poem is written, all to quiet response.

I wonder how the recruiting budget for theater majors compares to the recruiting budget for the basketball team.

If athletes are paid a salary, then will dancers, singers, actors and other performers be paid a salary as well? After all, they perform for the public to raise money.

Can the dancers use the trainers, the whirlpools and the gym facilities of the athletes?

Why not let each university hire a basketball team? Many players don’t care about the degree, and it’s a hassle for the coaches. Let the degree be optional?
