Why isn’t it just common sense to want to save the planet?
Hasn’t science again and again proved its reliability and efficacy? How can we
ignore all the obvious signs of nature’s climate changing?
It’s easy. Greed is powerful. Short-sightedness is the norm.
Comfort and convenience numb us into complacency. The material world trumps the
natural world. A little inconvenience seems all we can tolerate.
We can’t make demands on the government unless we are
willing to make demands on ourselves, and even allow government to make
reasonable demands on us.
