Thinking about Jesus at the end of this Holy Week? Think
about this.
Jesus surrounded himself with common laborers, tax
collectors, Romans, lepers, prostitutes and the socially outcast. The community
of the Pharisees was exclusive, the community of Jesus, inclusive.
This is why the discrimination of corporations, small
businesses and religious institutions against the gay and lesbian community
makes no sense to me. Love does not push away. Love embraces.
