It’s obvious that privilege is not equitable in America. What’s not understood is that privilege is not always a positive thing.
The arrogance of privilege chokes compassion.
The greed of privilege chokes generosity.
The inequality of privilege chokes empathy.
The comfort of privilege chokes the understanding of suffering.
Privilege can be a roadblock to genuine humanity.
