I can’t stand it. Rousing cheers for the coach of U Conn basketball and thanks for the support to bring back the basketball program. I wonder how much support there was for developing the math program or the science program or any academic program. Free burgers for a year for the players. Any support for the academic achievers performing arts achievers?

For hundreds of years, the nude female and male have been the source of beauty, narrative and study in Western art. Now in the 21st century, one of the greatest artistic expressions of our humanity, Michaelangelo’s David, is reduced to controversy over a David’s penis being shown in a 6th grade classroom.
This, in a society where entertainment has been highly eroticized, pornography is accessible to anyone, men jog shirtless down the street, young girls are scantily and provocatively dressed, powerful men have mistresses and sexuality is a staple of marketing.
Half the children in that classroom have seen a penis and use it everyday. The other half will see one sooner or later.
We must remember that penises don’t titillate others. People with penises titillate others. Marble penises are rarely dangerous.
