 The law is not a moral agent. The judicial system intends to fairly try and punish under the law. A moral code guides individuals in their efforts to live as decent human beings.

We don’t know if Donald Trump will be convicted under the law of any crimes he will be indicted on. But we do know with certainty that he has failed almost any measure of morality. Narcissism, lack of compassion, cheating, egoism, infidelity, blatant dishonesty and misuse of power are all assaults on morality that are evident to all.
