For decades and decades, gay people have felt the brunt of repressive Republican legislation. The LBGTQ community has experienced the same. These groups have fought back for recognition and fair treatment. Now, never giving up, Republican legislators are attacking trans youth, even under the ruse of caring about their health. And, of course, protecting our children from frighteningly dangerous drag shows.

Banning books is a message to stay in your safe little life. Of course, this is impossible in this open and connected world. Don’t these idiots realize that education is about critical thinking, not about fearing ideas.
