Naked
Naked with one another
Is more than skin
It’s all we are, exposed
Freely as if flesh could speak
Scorching words don’t burn
Touch is tentative but honest
And says we will enter
One another, in no way strangers
Unafraid because it’s love
The soul has a tough skin
Because it always tells the truth
Can we become naked in our souls
