When we look at the world as it is, it’s easy to get discouraged by the corruption, sexual improprieties, brutality, injustice and gross misuse of power we see all around us. What can we do?
It seems to me that the first step is for each of us, in our own way, to demonstrate what compassion, justice, dignity and integrity are. It’s not easy. We’ll stumble. We’re human.
But really, what choice do we have?
