Next time the media replays an NFL touchdown dance, think of the 15-year-old football player who died protecting two young girls. The next time the  media pokes you in the eyes with Kim Kardashian, remind yourself of "Mama," who for decades worked to heal her neighborhood.

For the media, all the time in the world is available to celebrities. Heroes, if they're get a minute or two, are lucky.
