Absurdity

I've found that accepting life as basically absurd is very useful. Human behavior makes more sense. Love makes more sense. The chaos of decision making makes more sense. Creationism makes more sense. Fashion makes more sense. The trickster makes more sense. Human stupidity makes mores sense. Sense makes more sense.

Life might be an absurdity of a fabulous kind in an otherwise rational universe. Mathematics can tame the physical universe, but not life. And that's why it is such an admirable effort by human beings to try to achieve a world of peace, justice, equality and love.

With the acceptance of absurdity, the gauntlet is thrown down. Those heroes who pick it up and meet the challenge of absurdity are the ones who teach us how to right the world.
