A lazy mind

A lazy mind wants simple answers to complex problems.

A lazy mind wants comfort, not challenge.

A lazy mind wants stasis, not change.

A lazy mind is easily distracted by bells and whistles.

A lazy mind enjoys numbing spectacle.

A lazy mind is not a good listener.

A lazy mind takes frequent naps.

A lazy can even survive a college education.

Isn't conserving energy a basic principle of mammalian survival? Forms of meditation speak in terms of clarifying perceptions by quieting the mind, calming the "rats of rumination." Calm yet alert.
